B.R.A.I.N.S. is a volunteer-based project that was launched in August 2020. With the help of committed and passionate individuals, we provide accurate and concise information about how to take care of our brains.
Eva is the Founder and Executive Director of B.R.A.I.N.S. After sustaining eight concussions, Eva is left with the mental, physical, and emotional consequences of her injuries. She realized not enough was being done to educate people about how to best care for their brains, so she founded B.R.A.I.N.S. She hopes to continue educating others about the importance of prioritizing brain health.
Myles is the Director of External Relations. His history of hockey-induced concussions has inspired him to spread awareness regarding mental illness and maintaining a healthy brain.
He is now a graduate student at the University of Toronto and focuses on neural circuits and neurodegeneration. On his spare time, Myles likes to read, explore nature, and go to the gym.
Rachel is the Host of B.R.A.I.N.S.'s interview series Let's Get Real. She is a journalist and social media enthusiast, but most importantly a storyteller at heart. Her studies in journalism taught her the importance of telling and sharing stories. When Rachel isn't creating episodes of Let's Get Real, she can be found working as a marketing and social media Content Coordinator.
